Product rendering and digital animation made for the launch of the Covision Media D-Twin 2 3D scanner.

D-Twin 2, the game changer in 3D scanning

The D-Twin 2 is a real turning point in the field of 3D scanning.
I have had the pleasure of working with products scanned by this machine and the result is exceptional: a quality that mirrors the real product faithfully, in every detail and texture.

The brief was to create the still life images and a short animation of the machine starting from the engineering 3D, because the prototype was still being built.

Presenting without a finished product

Even though the structure was not finished yet, the renderings meant the press release could come with several images showing both the structure of the product and the object scanning phase.

The structure was designed to take products of different sizes, from shoes (or smaller accessories) up to garments and bulkier objects.

Emotional teaser

Alongside the still images, I developed the digital animation for the launch of the scanner. Bringing 3D rendering, animation and art direction together creates a visual language able to communicate a complex technology without losing focus on the physical product, translating a sophisticated 3D scanning process into clear, engaging visual communication.

The edit alternates wide shots and close-ups of the sensors, keeping the same visual rhythm as the still images so that all the launch materials stay consistent. The aim was not a technical video, but an emotional one.
